Once you have purchased a Custom Game World via Upgrades, you can create it from going to My Game Worlds and then clicking on Create Game World. You will then need to follow the 5 on screen steps prior to the creation of your Custom Game World.

The 5 steps in the creation of a Custom Game World:

• Step 1: Choose Format;
• Step 2: Choose Clubs;
• Step 3: Choose Settings;
• Step 4: Choose Advanced Rules;
• Step 5: Create Game World.

When creating your Custom Game World following the five on screen steps you can choose any of the following unique features:

• Your Game World name and your starting club;
• The clubs in your Game World;
• The number of divisions and clubs in your Game World;
• Whether the Game World is open to everyone or whether it is application/invite only;
• The number of clubs promoted and relegated;
• The number of points for a win;
• The manager's reputation entry level to your Game World;
• Whether clubs start with empty squads or default squads;
• Whether clubs start with default balances or a predetermined balance;
• Along with a whole range of other exciting custom features.

Once the Game World has been created you then administrate it deciding which managers you want to let join and adjust the Advanced Rules if necessary at the start of each new season. However, once it has been created you cannot delete or restart it or swap any club for another one and you cannot change it's name as this is unique within the game.

Any member of the Soccer Manager community can purchase Pre-Owned Custom Game Worlds.

Once you have purchased a Pre-Owned Custom Game World via Upgrades, you can administrate it from going to My Game Worlds. When you take over a Custom Game World that was previously run by Soccer Manager you can administrate it in relation to:

• Access;
• Description;
• Advanced Rules;
• Admin Managers.

If you purchase a Pre-Owned Custom Game World via Upgrades, you will not be able to change its name or remove current managers in the Game World as they have every right to continue to compete in it.

During the creation of your Custom Game World you can select the level of access you wish to have in place and thereafter at any time by going to My Game Worlds and clicking on Game World Admin. You can administrate access to your Custom Game World in relation to:

• Manager Reputation Entry Level - select the minimum number of SM Reputation you want from a manager involved in your Game World.
• Public Open - completely open, anyone who meets your Manager Reputation entry level can join your Game World.
• Private Application - everyone has to apply and await your approval to join your Game World.
• Private Locked - no one can join your Game World.
• Private Invitation - you offer jobs to people (recommended when creating).

During the creation of your Custom Game World you can provide a brief Description of your Game World to potential managers and thereafter once during the course of each new season by going to My Game Worlds and clicking on Game World Admin.

During the creation of your Custom Game World you can select which Advanced Rules you wish to have in place and thereafter once at the start of each new season prior to Turn 1 being played by going to My Game Worlds and clicking on Game World Admin.

The SMFA will automatically enforce any of the Advanced Rules you select and they only effect clubs within your Custom Game World. The Advanced Rules you can set are:

Game World Rules:

• Economy Level - Choose the strength of your Game World economy. This in relation to how much money enters your Game World in the form of TV Revenue, Gate Receipts, Prize Money etc. This will not affect the funds each club will start with on creation of the Game World;
• Promotion Play-Offs - This can be turned on or off;
• Player Concerns off - Exclude this feature from your Game World;

Transfer Rules:

• SMFA monitoring transfers on - The SMFA will block any unusual and/or dubious transfers.
• No buying from Unmanaged Clubs - Players cannot be bought from unmanaged clubs within your Game World;
• No buying from External Clubs - Players cannot be bought from clubs outside of your Game World (however, external clubs can still bid on your players);
• No buying over the age of - This can be set to any age or a specific age;
• No buying players rated over - This can be set to a specific player rating;
• Can only offer cash to clubs in deal - Players can only be bought/sold for money;
• Cannot do cash transfers over - This can be set to a specific value;
• Transfer window ONE between Turn X and Turn X - Players cannot be bought outside of this transfer window;
• Transfer window TWO between Turn X and Turn X - Players cannot be bought outside of this transfer window;
• Can only buy players from the same nationality as your club - If your club is in England, you will only be able to buy players who are English.

Please be advised that if the SMFA is turned off it could result in unusual and/or dubious transfers. We only recommend turning this feature off if you are playing with friends and/or work colleagues in a Private Game World.

Manager Rules:

• Manager sacked if they finish in bottom: - You can choose either 1, 2 or 3. These managers will be sacked and the club will be available again;
• Manager must login to this Game World at least every: - The can be set to:
• SM Default Days - This is the default days you must log into your clubs,
• 7 days - The manager must log in within 7 days or they will be automatically removed,
• 10 days - The manager must log in within 10 days or they will be automatically removed,
• 14 days - The manager must log in within 14 days or they will be automatically removed.

During the creation of your Custom Game World you can select which Advanced Rules you wish to have in place and thereafter once at the start of each new season prior to Turn 1 being played by going to My Game Worlds and clicking on Game World Admin.

After the creation of your Custom Game World you can view the managers in your Game World as well as accept and reject new managers by going to My Game Worlds and clicking on Game World Admin.

You can also offer available clubs to managers in your friends list by clicking on the drop down box and selecting their name prior to clicking on Offer.

If you need to contact all of the managers within your Custom Game World, for example to inform them of changes to the Advanced Rules, then you can send a global message. To send a global message simply click on Send Global Message To Game World and then enter the content of the message in the field provided prior to clicking on Send.

Within Game World Admin there is no facility to remove a manager from your Custom Game World. This is because a manager will only be removed from a Game World if they have broke the Terms of Use and in these circumstance it would be by the SMFA.

Please note that we do not tolerate any form of blackmail or bullying from any manager within the SM community, whether in relation to transfers, swapping clubs or similar. Any manager found to be blackmailing or bullying members will be banned from the site instantly with no appeal due to break the Terms of Use.

You can release or reclaim control of your Custom Game World by going to My Game Worlds and clicking on either Release Game World or Reclaim Game World. If you release control of your Custom Game World:

• You will immediately lose control of the Game World;
• The Game World will become Public Open;
• Other members of the Soccer Manager community will immediately be able to purchase this Game World via the shop as Pre-owned Custom Game World.

In order to release your Game World you will need to enter your Soccer Manager password. If you want to reclaim your Custom Game World then simply click on Reclaim Game World. You can only reclaim a Custom Game World if no other member of the Soccer Manager community has purchased it from the SM Shop as a Pre-Owned Custom Game World.
