Soccer Manager believes that most of the answers to your questions are covered within our Help.

i have a player who has 2 years left on his contract and its not showing up the icon to renew the contract. anyone no why?

its allowing me to update any other player just not this one

Usually, if the player has recently moved clubs or you have recently renewed his contract, it will hide the option to renew the contract. If you believe that you should be able to renew this players contract by now, then I suggest you send in a Bug ticket by clicking on the Report Bug link to the left.
