Player Talent Scout: Mohammed Kudus

Posted on 29th May 2020

The Danish Superliga restarts this week, and one player who many will be watching is Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus of FC Nordsjaelland. The 19 year-old was in fine form when the league was postponed in early March.

Having started his career at the famous Right to Dream academy, which has produced over 20 graduates who have gone on to play professionally in Europe, Kudus first came to prominence when he excelled at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017 as Ghana reached the quarter-finals.

Kudus joined Nordsjaelland in 2018, and scored 3 times in his first season, when he was mostly used a central midfielder. This season he has been played more as a striker and has been in exceptional form with 9 goals already.

Kudus made his senior Ghana debut in November last year, and marked it with a goal in a 2-0 win against South Africa in an African Cup of Nations qualifier.

Having already alerted the attention of the likes of Everton, Tottenham, Newcastle, Paris Saint-Germain, Rennes, Marseille, Fenerbahce and Internazionale, Kudus will be aiming to pick up where he left off and earn himself a big summer move.
