Player Talent Scout: Adam Hložek

Posted on 06th May 2020

17 year-old Sparta Praha forward Adam Hložek is seen as the most talented Czech player since Tomáš Rosický. He is very experienced for his age, with over 40 appearances for the giants of Czech football.

He became the youngest player to start for Sparta when he debuted for the Czech giants in 2018, and in 2019 he became the youngest scorer in the Fortuna Liga with a goal against Viktoria Plzen at the age of just 16 years and seven months.

Hložek prefers to play as a second-striker, but often plays as a winger for Sparta. He is physically strong, good in the air and possesses a powerful shot, but he is also quick for his size and is an exceptional dribbler.

Seen as the future of Czech football, a full national team call up awaits for a player who has shown his ability on the international stage with 3 goals in 8 appearances for the Czechs at Under 21 level.

Linked with Manchester City, Bayern, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund and Napoli among others, Hlozek is destined for a top European club at some point in the future, and with Euros 2020 postponed until next year, he has time on his side to force his way into the Czech squad for the tournament and showcase his talents to a wider audience.
