There is a vast friendly community on SoccerManager.com that use two of the main media features being Chat Room and Forum.
To participate in both these media functions please note that profanity, personal abuse and discrimination of any nature will not be tolerated within either and can result in the loss of your account. Full details are available in the 'Forums and Public Communication section' of the Terms and Conditions. Entry to either the Chat Room or Forum indicates acceptance of these rules.
The Chat Room and Forum are jointly monitored by SM Moderators/Supervisors to make sure that all adhere to the acceptance they agreed upon by joining these two community facilities.
SM Supervisors oversee the Moderators to make sure that they follow the guidelines and procedure set out and do not unjustly discriminate against anyone. ( SM Moderators are displayed in Blue and SM Supervisors in Red.)

The primary use of the SM Chat Room is to share information with a group of other users. You will need to click on 'Chat' which is accessed via the 'Main Tool Meida - Chat' to access the 'Chat Room'. You will enter the 'Chat Room' under your Soccer Manager account and you do not need to Game World a seperate account. The 'Chat Room' is moderated by 'Chat Room Mods' and their names are displayed in red to show they are mods. Please note that profanity, personal abuse and discrimination of any nature will not be tolerated within the 'Chat Room' and can result in the loss of your account. The SM Forum is an international community based at www.soccermanager.com/forum with members from all corners of the globe registered as active users. The SM Forum is a global community of over 5,000 football fans who come together to discuss the beautiful game and all things related to Soccer Manager.

The SM Forum has an active and ever-growing community where users are invited to join and discuss anything and everything to do with football and Soccer Manager. Being a Gold Member is not a pre-requisite for joining our community and we welcome all members regardless of their status.

Registering for the SM Forum allows you to access the full range of forums meaning you can discuss almost anything. Of course the site is moderated by Forum Moderators (Forum Mods) so please before you register ensure you read the site's Terms and Conditions and abide by the very reasonable standards of behavior.

If you have spotted a real life prospect, or think someone needs a rating change in SM, discuss it here:

- Player Talent Scout: Who is the latest talent? If looking for advice, use the Help section, or to discuss ratings use the Ratings section.

- UK Football: English or Scottish Premiership ? Irish or Welsh leagues? Along with all the lower leagues, this is where to come.
- European Football: Discuss league or cup matches from all countries in Europe.
- UEFA & Champions League Football: Discuss Champions League, UEFA Cup or Intertoto cup matches here.
- World/Non European Football: Discuss league or cup matches from Non European Countries here - Brazil, Japan, Australia, USA, Argentina, Copa Libertadores etc
