Work In Progress: SMFA Seeding

Some of you will or will not (depending on who you actually manage) be pleased to hear that we are currently working on ‘SMFA Seeding’ within the elite Gold Setups.

Those of you who are currently Gold Members and have a club(s) within the elite Gold Setups will be fully aware that there is no seeding process in relation to the SMFA Cup. Due to a number of suggestions we have received, and also after reviewing this competition we have decided to introduce ‘SMFA Seeding’.

In essence this would mean that if you win your group during the opening phase of the SMFA Cup, you would not play in the first knock-out round another group winnr, but instead a runner-up from another group. This would reward the group winners for their performance in the SMFA Cup, and should reflect a more real-life scenario.
