Work In Progress: Loans

June 12th, 2008 by SM Dev (ste)

We are continually looking at ways to improve existing features within the site, and one such feature which is currently being redeveloped is ‘Loans’.

We have received numerous requests in relation to a player being out on loan, and then no club being able to submit a transfer offer for him (unless of course he is recalled). Due to this we have decided to improve the existing loan feature which will allow any club to make an offer for a player whilst out on loan.

This new feature is currently being worked on, and it should be ready within the next few weeks.

why dont you include an option to buy after loan period, no recall loans, and if you loan a player from a club, you cannot play them againest that club…etc. this could make it more relistic

I aso think it would be a good idea that when a loan ends, the player doesnt return until next day. This could be when the parent club recalls the player or when the club loaning the player decides they dont need him anymore. I had a player recalled minutes before the game after I had selected my team. A low rating youth player was then automatically picked in his place!

Another thing could be a loan fee added to the eqaution. For example, paying 10% of the players value to ensure that the player cannot be recalled. Many real life clubs charge such fees for their players to be sent out on loan. Just a suggestion.

    yeah ai agree with dave
often wen i sened players on loan i send a message to the manager to say ‘don’t play him when u play me!’

i think that when u loan a player there shud b a ban against playing him from his old club and also you can choose the period of time you loan a player 4

How about when you put players on the loan list other clubs, not necessarily in the setup, can bid on them for the season?
