The ebay auction was sort of already discussed on the forum about year ago and Sm said they would have a meeting about it but there was never any word back so I wouldnt get your hopes up on this idea although I hope it does go ahead.

i hate this idea. because in real life you dont do it like that, you don’t set a time and just let people bid, because then the player could be sold for about 1k.
in real, you receive bids and choose the highest one, and there is no time limit.
i just think that sm have done the best they can do with the transfers and i don’t think they need to ruin it by trying to improve it too much.

The idea would only be used if you wanted to use it, and you would be able to set a minimum price. This would allow people with less access to a computer or to SM, to still have a chance at a big time player. Also different time zones have a bigger advantage, because of the time difference. If you couldn’t be at a computer at the end of an SM day, you could quite possibly lose your chance to make a bid for a player. This system would allow you to set a maximum bid. If you have the highest bid, you win, If not you know that the player was out of your price range.
