Predictions for the 2010 World Cup

July 6th, 2008 by SM Dev (ste)

The staff at SoccerPro.com headed by podcast host Curtis Stelzer are back with their latest podcast “Predictions for the 2010 World Cup ” on their excellent Goalmouth Scramble.

I listened to the podcast of  “Predictions for the 2010 World Cup” on Friday, and I thought it was another brilliant podcast. It is recommend listening in my opinion if you like all things football and SM related.

I won’t offer my view on the Lionel Messi offer which is on the table, and it will be interesting to see what happened with that offer, and I am sure Curtis and the rest of the SoccerPro.com staff will discuss this on their next podcast.

Do you agree with their views on the recent FIFA World Rankings, and also their predictions for the 2010 World Cup?

I listened to the Podcast a day or so ago and firstly will guess he took the deal as it seems he hates Messi. (I wouldn’t though)

Secondly I don’t know of anyone who agrees with the Official Fifa Rankings but I don’t necessarly agree with all there suggestions either but won’t go into that.

Seriously though these Podcasts are excellent and everyone should take a listen!!

I’m all for predictions but predictions of the 2010 World Cup?
Are you for real? We haven’t even got 2008 over yet for goodness sake…

How can you predict for a tournament that is two years away, we don’t even know what the squads will be like or who will have qualified.

    Crazy……

Hey guys - I just want to thank all of you that have listened to the Goalmouth Scramble. As most of you know - we are in the USA - so we are still learning how that side of the world covers this great game. We started the podcast to have some fun about the real life of soccer (football) as well as Soccer Manager. We thought it would be fun just to look forward to the World Cup in 2010 - and that’s all we were trying to do was have some fun with a topic.

Over here in the US - the NBA Draft is huge - and once it is over - they (the major sports companies, ESPN, FOX, etc) all look forward to next year’s draft the next day - heck - sometimes the same night the current draft ends. And we thought it would be cool to talk about the next “major” international tournament - that’s all.

Hey - if anything - we did get you talk about the podcast and we love that. We are hoping you all continue to listen - and please when I/we do something dumb - please feel free to let us know - we always want to make the show better. And if you have any topics you would like us to talk about - let us know that too.

Lastly - all of us at the Goalmouth Scramble. SoccerPro.com and SoccerProse.com thank everyone at Soccer Manager for their great support - we couldn’t have asked for more - and we hope you feel the same.

Oh yeah - I didn’t trade Messi - I couldn’t do it - the guy is sick - or should I say kid?

    Sincerely,

    Curtis Stelzer

Curtis, I know how you feel. How the heck is Australia ranked 40th? This is seriously a joke. FIFA hates Australia the most.

Can you give me your thoughts on Australia.

  • 10. Bruce Morgan  |  July 7th, 2008 at 9:21 am

    Australia are rubbish…
They should be at the bottom of the rankings…
    They are useless…

I think Albania has a chance of qualifying, but it would be a miracle if they win. Maybe Brazil will win again.
