Talent Scout: Renato Augusto
June 21st, 2007 by SM Dev (ste)
Is the world ready for another Brazilian attacking midfielder? After all we have Ronaldinho, Kaka, Diego, Anderson et al!
Well prepare to brace yourself for another Brazilian magician, as their production line keeps churning out talent after talent, and this time Renato Augusto has appeared at the end of the line.
Predicting the future success of any young player is never easy, as some produce glimpses of a genius at a young age, are hyped up beyond recognition, only to fade into obscurity! By all accounts, Flamengo’s No10 is one who is set to break that mould.
As is the fashion in Brazil (and other countries around the world), everytime a new young talent emerges from a youth academy, you will hear people say he is the next “Kaka”, or “Ronaldinho” - Renato Augusto has been dubbed the “next one”.
Renato Augusto has excellent skill, and on the ball speed, and there is every reason he has been dubbed the “next one” (just view this link for some examples). He has already attracted the attention of Manchester United, Chelsea, and AC Milan, as they believe all the hype that surrounds him.
He is currently an 85 rated CM/AM on the game, and if all the hype is to be believed, then he has the potential to reach a much higher rating.
