Talent Scout: Michele Canini

AC Milan are looking ahead to the new season already, and they have 23 year old central defender Michele Canini on their radar.
The ex-Italian Under-21 international (who was once regarded as one of the most promising young defenders in Italy) suffered a bad injury which set his career back, and he soon vanished from the limelight. However, Canini is now back playing regularly again for Cagliari, and this has alerted the Rossoneri as well as other leading Italian clubs.
The young central defender is slowly getting back to his best, and now he’s back Milan are after him. Reports suggest that they are prepared to sell Cagliari full rights to striker Alessandro Matri, and also give them 21 year old winger Ignazio Abate (who is on loan at Empoli this season). The Rossoneri are remaining cautious though, and would like to sign the centre back on loan initially so that Canini can prove he is back to his best.
However, Roma are also said to be in the frame as last summer Cellino said that i Lupi had asked about Canini, and that he replied that he is not for sale, but if he does go up for sale he will sell to Roma. The central defender is long been admired by i Lupi, and they look set to battle the Rossoneri in the coming weeks for his signature.
Whether he ends up in Milan or Rome next season is still to be seen, however with him only comanding an 83 rating at present, now is the time to sign the former Italian Under-21 international defender before his stock rises even further.

Why do you just look for talents in the biggest leagues. In the swedish team IFK Göteborg you have forgot 2 young goalkeepers who play in the senior squad. The firsts name is Erik Dahlin and Jonas Stenman. Look for them please!

Because both the players probably aren’t very talented if they are 3rd choice for Goteborg.
