New Improvements/Features: Player Profile
October 20th, 2007 by SM Dev (ste)
There has been an alteration to the player profile page to coincide with the recent ‘Transfer System Change‘. Now a players profile will show both the club Chairman’s valuation as well as SM’s (and if applicable his transfer threshold).
Next to each value is an information button (
) which will give a brief explanation of each feature.
SM Value: This value is a fixed value based on the players rating and age that is universal across all setups and is not affected by which club the player is at.
Chairman’s Value: This value is decided by the Chairman of the club the player currently plays for. This value is dependent on his significance within the club. If the player is a ‘first team’ player or is one of the better players within the squad the Chairman will value him highly. Different Chairman will value the player at different amounts if the player moves club.
For example Manchester United’s Chairman may value one of there ‘reserve’ players at £3m but if the player moved to Bury, Bury’s Chairman may then value him at £5m as he would be more of a key player for them.
When placing a bid for a player you will have to at least match the Chairman’s valuation for the bid to be completed if the offer is accepted by the manager.
Transfer Threshold: This value is set by the Manager of the club. You will have to bid at least this amount for an offer to be made.
