Messages: In-game Cheating Update
July 21st, 2008 by SM Dev (ste)
Last month we announced that we are now taking a tougher stance against in-game cheating, and you can read full details regarding this via this link. This tougher stance against in-game cheating has now been running 28 days, and I can say that the SMFA have achieved a high degree of success. Therefore if you are currently cheating we will find out sooner or later, and we will then take the appropriate action against your account.
I would also like to remind all members of our community that the SMFA find those who flaunt the rules on a regular basis due to the cheat prevention system (CPS), however the whole community has a responsibility as well to keep a watchful eye for suspicious activities of any kind. If you believe a manager has broken the Terms of Use then you will need to contact SM Support so that the SMFA can investigate your suspicions. Some examples of in-game cheating can be found within the Code of Conduct, and this information is elaborated further within the Online Help.
