Some welcome news for all Gold Members (GC) or those of you who are currently thinking of upgrading your account (which can be done via the SM Shop).
As some of you may or may not be aware be aware there are currently 19 Gold Championships, and this number is to low in relation to how many Gold Members we currently have. This can be seen in facts and figures:
- Gold Members - 6,517;
- Gold Members club slot allocation - 14;
- Number of Gold Championships - 19;
- Number of clubs withn all Gold Championships - 7,930.
Therefore if each Gold Member decided to manage say five clubs solely within the elite Gold Championships (which would require 32,585 clubs) there would be a massive shortfall!
So what is the answer to the above problem?
Well it is a simple one and that is to create more Gold Championships for our Gold Members, and in doing so give a greater choice of clubs for them to choose from.
Why should I upgrade my account to become a Gold Member?
Well if you upgrade your account via the SM Shop to become a Gold Member you will be able to:
- 16 National leagues running concurrently with two domestic cups each;
(England, Spain, Italy, Scotland, France, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, Greece, Russia, Netherlands, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, America); - Top teams from all the domestic leagues compete in Champions League style competitions the SMFA Champions Cup and SMFA Shield;
- your setup name and your starting club;
- the clubs in your setup;
- the number of divisions and clubs in your setup;
- whether the setup is open to everyone or whether it is application/invite only (eg Buddy League);
- the number of clubs promoted and relegated;
- the number of points for a win;
- the manager’s reputation entry level to your setup;
- whether the setup has a transfer window;
- and many more rules…
What is so unique about the elite Gold Championships?
- They contain 16 national leagues running concurrently (England, Spain, Italy, Scotland, France, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Turkey, Greece, Russia, Netherlands, Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, America) with two domestic cups each;
