SM Forum regular ‘leamingtonstevem’ has decided to take on a new challenge within the SM game, and has decided to try and rescue a club under the guide ‘Save Our Season‘:

This is my own personal challenge as I have decided to find a club in trouble, and try and rescue them but only in a short time period. With only nine games of the season remaining West Ham United in WC121 are rock bottom of Div 4, and are £12,600,000 in debt. My aim is to get them to finish as highly as possible, and to also finish with a positive bank balance before leaving to take on the next challenge. Here to prove the fact is the current table, and the overview and I will post back at the seasons end to see if I indeed saved the club.

This is a tremendous challenge which SM Forum regular leamingtonsteve has undertaken, and it will be interesting to see how he fares. He has agreed to update his thread on the SM Forum on a regular basis, and SM will keep you updated via the SM Blog so that you can see if he succeeded in this ambitious project.

Best o luck steve.I once saved a liverpool’s season.Managed to get them from 19th to 14th in a span of around 13 matches.Hope u manager and best o luck again.

Steve knows he has my best wishes,other forumers doing same type of challenge,any managers interested in a more interactive relationship with fellow managers ,come on forum join same set ups as rest of lads ,do your own match reports etc,get into the real fun of SM ,friendly manager banter ,its not all about having the biggest clubs and being top .

i started with my team man utd in joes tables 66 and they were 3rd bottom so far i taken them up 2 7th all well so far tryin 2 win the league but is,nt every1

Although Neller (jnr.) had started with a group of managers the same thing :p, I hope Steve can save his team.

I can assure you that will be a hard task, specially if WestHam has a small squad.

good luck i doubt ull do it i myself pulled liverpool out of the quagmire in euro champ 44 or 45 with 6 games left and oni 3 on the table 8 behind newcastle i kept them up on the last day beating the toon 2 1 i finished on 16 thm on 15

i still have a sydney i took them over in the third season three games in they were winless. they had finished last and second last in the previous seasons. i took them all the way to the div 4 title and now i am currently leading div 3.
