New Rating Change Schedule

June 4th, 2007 by SM Dev (ste)

Summer Leagues

The majority of the worlds summer leagues start in spring, and usually finish in autumn. One of the main reasons for this format for (certain) European countries is due to the cold-climate, and other countries have decided on this format for other reasons.

Leagues which come under the Summer League umbrella will be reviewed twice per season, and any player(s) we think needs reviewing outside this, will be looked at individually.

First Change – June/July.

Second Change – November/December.

  • Wk1: Belarus, Russia & Ukraine.
  • Wk2: Australia, China, Japan & Korea.
  • Wk3: Finland, Iceland, Norway & Sweden.
  • Wk4: Columbia, Ecuador, Paraguay & USA.
  • Wk5: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania & Rep Ireland.

Please note the above is a rough guide only, and is subject to change.

Main Leagues

The majority of the worlds winter leagues start late summer, and usually finish in late spring.

Leagues which come under the Main League umbrella will be reviewed from August through to May, on a twelve week cycle, and any player(s) we think needs reviewing outside this, will be looked at individually.

  • Wk1: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru & Uruguay.
  • Wk2: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Peru & Uruguay.
  • Wk3: Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia & Macedonia.
  • Wk4: Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland & Romania.
  • Wk5: Austria, Denmark, Czech Rep, Germany, Netherlands & Slovakia.
  • WK6: Austria, Denmark, Czech Rep, Germany, Netherlands & Slovakia.
  • Wk7: Belgium, France & Switzerland.
  • Wk8: England, Scotland, Northern Ireland & Wales.
  • Wk9: England, Scotland, Northern Ireland & Wales.
  • Wk10: Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Malta & Turkey.
  • Wk11: Portugal & Spain.
  • Wk12: Italy.

Please note that some geographic areas are spread over two weeks (due to the sheer number of clubs involved), and the leagues which fall inside that area can be reviewed in either week.

There is one final category which falls under the Winter League umbrella, and that is the Rest of the World category. Leagues which fall into this category include: Australian, Costa Rican, Egyptian, Iranian, Moroccan, Saudi Arabian, South African, Tunisian & Qatari. Due to these leagues being more obscure, they will be reviewed once per season (time not specified).

Note:

  • During the month of June/July, there will be no rating changes for the Main Leagues, unless we feel a player needs to be looked into, due to the various international tournaments.
  • When we review the second change (in November/December) for the Summer Leagues, we will now review the players from the Main Leagues.

MIchael Mifsud s rating was decreased by one now he is 85 this player was magical when he scored two goals a week ago in the curling cup with coventry which now coventry will face man utd.MIchael mifsud was also strumnetal with his national team Malta against Turkey(2-2 Draw enden the match).I cant understand on which criteria michael s rating was decreased.

  • 25. Andy  |  September 13th, 2007 at 10:27 am

This means the review of leagues in the real world, as players in the game are based on how players are really performing. If you’re Liverpool, your squad will be reviewed in the weeks when english clubs are due to be reviewed. However if you bought Kaka, who plays in Italy, his rating would only be reviewed when the italian league is looked at.

So player rating changes happen when the league they play in, in real life is reviewed….

  • 26. deskee  |  September 14th, 2007 at 10:47 am

  • 32. amakarim  |  October 2nd, 2007 at 9:48 am

I need to ask about David Silva!!!!!!!!! is 92 for him is fair????
PS: Andreas Iniesta (94) of Barcelona is a good player no doubt but he is the substitute of David Silva in the national team.
I mean, come on, all what david silva is doing for valencia and his superb display and performance with scoring ability for only 92 !!!! i think 94 is quiet fair for this young guy.
    Thanx

  • 33. Anthony  |  October 2nd, 2007 at 11:21 am

    Obafemi Martins only 91??!!
if Owen deserves 93, then Martins should also be 93.
    Yakubu 91?? he’s at least a 92.

Andrea Barzagli 92?! have you ever saw him play for Palmero? he should be at lesat 93!

  • 34. sean  |  October 13th, 2007 at 9:16 am

hmm….why is Daniel sturridge( manchester city) a mere 70? here are few lines from wikipedia:
” in FIFA 07 if controlled in Manager Mode, sturridge can become one of the game’s best players, with a rating between 92/93 out of 100 after quite a few seasons
-In the Football Manager series Daniel can develop into the best striker on the game. With Chelsea often paying upwards of £30m for him by the year 2012″
I agree he hasn’t done too much yet, but he could’ve have got a 75..I hope u would consider his case.

  • 35. Anthony  |  October 14th, 2007 at 8:38 am

carlos mineiro should go a little higher
he’s played for the brazil nat. team
    should be at least 93

  • 36. Lewis  |  October 14th, 2007 at 7:43 pm

Man United Have Only 13 90+ And Considering That They Are Reigning Premiership Champions Thats Pretty Low.

    My Thought’s:
    Luis Nani - 90+
    Luis Anderson - 89/90
    Chris Eagles - 88/89
    John O’Shea - 90+
    Wes Brown - 90/91
    Tomasz Kuszczak - 90/91

An Its Not Only Man Utd Who Are Suffering.

    My Thought’s:
    Shaun Wright-Phillips - 90+
    Theo Walcott - 88/89
    Eidur Gudjohnsen - 91
    Samuel Eto’o - 97
    Adriano - 93
    Scherer Maxwell - 91
    Sergio Aguero - 92

And Players Who’s Ratings Are Too High And Havent Been Preforming Well Recently For Club And Country.

    My Thought’s:
    Steven Gerrard - 95/96
    Frank Lampard - 95
    Dirk Kuijt - 91
    Peter Crouch - 90
    Jens Lehman - 88/89
    Ricardo Carvalho - 92/93
    Ji-Sung Park - 87/88
    Gerard Pique - 85/86
    Tal Ben Haim - 85

    And Thats What I Think.

  • 37. Jordan B  |  October 17th, 2007 at 6:28 pm

Anthony Vanden Borre only 87, he should be at least a 91. I have followed him since he was 16 years old and I reckon he should have been an 87 then. He is amazing compared to most right backs. I admit hes not as good as Sergio Ramos, but he is neally as good. If you followed Vanden Borre for a couple of games u would realise that he is definately worth more than an 87 rating. By the way Nani should be an 90+.Thanks!

  • 38. Baterdene  |  October 18th, 2007 at 6:12 am

    Humberto Sauzo 91+

  • 39. Jordan B  |  October 20th, 2007 at 11:12 am

DAniel Sturridge should be an 77. I agree with SEAN. On FIFA 08 I dont think he is as good. I hope u will be changing VANDEN BORRE soon he derves a 91 rating.

  • 40. Tony  |  October 20th, 2007 at 11:41 pm

Ivan Cordoba should be a D rather than a CB/LB
according to wikipedia, “Cordoba is also a versatile defender. He sometimes plays as right back and has even filled the left back position.”

  • 41. stephen  |  October 23rd, 2007 at 10:23 pm

I think David Villa of valencia should be higher than a 95 as he is one of the best strikers in the world.
Rafael Van Der Vaart should go up to a 94 or a 95 as he is a world class attacking midfielder and ive heard barcelona are after him. Diego Ribas should also go up and I think Arjen Robben should be at least a 94.

  • 46. Dan  |  November 5th, 2007 at 5:35 pm
