Last week I announced that we were going to provide a facility to allow members of our community to translate the site into their own language. Well I have some more welcome news in relation to this as the facility to allow members of our community to translate the site into their own language is nearly complete.

New players will constantly be added to the player database by our researchers, and they will only be added if they have played at least 450 minutes of competitive football (however, players may be added at our discretion). A player will not be added to the game if he appears in a friendly match, reserve game or similar.

I would like to take the time to thank all of the members of our community who have sent information to our researchers (to date) in relation to the upkeep of our database.

Would you like to test yourself against some of the best managers in the game by participating in the elite Gold Championships? If you are currently a Basic Member and would like to become a Gold Member and participate in the elite Gold Championships then now is the time as we are about to create a new Gold Championship within the next 48 hours (view details via this link).

Some welcome news to all members of our community whose first language is not English .

Is English not your first language? Do you sometimes have difficulties understanding certain aspects of the site due to this? Do you have friends who would like to play SM but dont’ due to the game not being in their own language? Do you want more of your friends, family members and work colleagues to play SM?

Gold Championship 22 will be created on Saturday 23rd August, 2008, and this will be created at a random time.

We run a 24 hour  Game Time (GT) clock on SM, and this means that the new Gold Setup will be created at any point on Saturday 23rd August, 2008, between 00:00 GT and 23:59 GT.

This is just a polite reminder to everyone within our community who uses the ‘Fan Club Groups‘ feature that this is still covered by our Terms of Use and in particular reference to the section ‘Forums and Communications‘.

Certain individuals within our site are currently sending out bogus Private Messages (PMs) and/or emails in relation to a ‘Password Protection Scheme’. These PMs and emails are bogus and are not related to Soccer Manager.

Soccer Manager will never ask for your password or log in details as we already have this information on our database. Therefore if you receive an email or a Private Message asking for this information please report it via a Support Ticket, and we will then investigate this and take the appropriate action against the person requesting your account details.
